In 2022, Montblanc pays homage to one of the most famous musicians of the twentieth century, universally considered one of the most important electric guitarists in the history of popular music: Jimi Hendrix. In precious resin, the dirty white color of the hood and its engraved motif are inspired by one of the shoulder straps of the guitars worn by Hendrix, while the black body is embellished with an elegant reason reminiscent of a Wah pedal. The shape of the platinum finish clip recalls the vibrate lever of an electric guitar. The Montblanc emblem on the upper part of the hood is in precious resin. Another surprising detail is the ring of the platinum finish body that draws inspiration from the cable of a guitar of the 1960s, with the date of a famous concert by Jimi Hendrix engraved.
